GS Energy supports the National Assembly Climate Change Forum to contribute to climate change response and problem-solving, as well as to promote a nature-friendly environment in our society.
The "2022 Virtual 815 Run" campaign serves as a reminder of the significance of Liberation Day and expresses gratitude to independence activists. It conveys a positive message of "It will be alright, Republic of Korea!" The donated funds were used for housing improvement projects for the descendants of independence activists.
The company donated funds through the Social Welfare Community Chest to support the residents who were affected by a large wildfire in Donghae City and were facing difficulties. Its contribution aimed to provide comfort to those who suffered and help them quickly return to their daily lives.
In addition to expanding the reach of art and culture, it is also supporting the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art to establish itself as a cultural symbol of Korea by sponsoring art exhibitions and artists.
In order to promote and preserve the history and culture of our country, the company engages in various museum sponsorship programs, including academic research, education, artifact acquisition, donation, and exhibitions. Additionally, it conducts social education programs for citizens, engages in international and domestic museum exchange activities through museum support societies, and participates in various forms of support and initiatives.
The funds were allocated for the purpose of supporting the European tour performances of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in three countries (Austria, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom) and four cities. This initiative aims to showcase the cultural and artistic excellence of Seoul on the international stage, further enhancing the city's reputation as a hub for culture and the arts.
