GS Energy should manage the generation, collection, storage, disposal, and related facilities of waste through inspections and monitoring to reduce waste generation.
Additionally, efforts should be made to enhance the recyclability of waste, considering it from the design stage of products and services, and share information on waste recovery and recycling with stakeholders. - 5 Evaluation of Suppliers, Contracts, and Service Providers

Purpose of Establishment
GS Energy recognizes the importance of universal human rights and corporate social responsibility in the process of running a business. The company is committed to pursuing sustainable growth and development by respecting the human rights of all stakeholders, including employees and executives, consumers, cooperating companies, and local residents. GS Power actively implements human rights management while establishing this Human Rights Charter to minimize and prevent human rights violations that may occur as a result of its business activities.

Scope of Policy Application
The scope of application of this Charter applies to all employees and executives of GS Energy (including GS Energy Corporation and its subsidiaries).
However, in cases where the matters covered in this Charter conflict with local laws and regulations, local regulations shall take precedence.
Within the scope that does not compromise voluntary management, GS Energy recommends the active implementation of this policy. -
Basic Principles

Cooperating companies of GS Energy should provide equal opportunities to workers and refrain from unfairly discriminating against workers on the basis of nationality, gender, religion, social status, or any other reasons in matters such as employment, promotion, compensation, and training opportunities.

GS Energy complies with the legally mandated working hours in the countries where it operates, and provides all employees and executives with fair compensation for their work.

Scope of Policy Application
GS Energy (including GS Energy Corporation and its subsidiaries) may voluntarily recommend that all its cooperating companies comply with these norms, regardless of the location of their business activities.
- 1 Voluntary Labor
All labor performed by cooperating companies of GS Energy should be based on the voluntary consent of the workers, and workers should have the freedom to change jobs or resign at any time.
- 2 Employment of Minors and Vulnerable Workers Reporting
· GS Energy's cooperating companies must comply with the minimum legal employment age standards set by the country and regional regulations in which they operate.
· While it is permissible to employ workers above the legal minimum employment age, workers under 18 years of age should not be engaged in tasks that pose risks from a safety and health perspective.

GS Energy's cooperating companies should respect the privacy of workers, including their personal information, and avoid any treatment that may compromise their personal dignity.

Cooperating companies of GS Energy will make their best efforts, including establishing and operating relevant systems and procedures, to prevent infringements of workers' human rights.

To achieve this, they provide appropriate personal protective equipment to workers, install technical control measures, establish safe work procedures, and conduct ongoing safety training for workers..

Cooperating companies of GS Energy establish and implement systems and procedures to prevent and manage industrial accidents and diseases.

Cooperating companies of GS Energy provide employees with a hygienic working environment and auxiliary facilities, making continuous efforts to improve working conditions to prevent employee health issues caused by excessive fatigue and stress.

Cooperating companies of GS Energy must identify hazardous substances that can harm human health or cause environmental pollution and make every effort to handle and manage them safely.

Cooperating companies of GS Energy must ensure that their employees and executives do not engage in unfair trading practices or actions that undermine fair market order. They should manage and supervise their operations in an honest and transparent manner.

Cooperating companies of GS Energy must establish policies and standards for the prohibition of bribery and prevention of corruption, and they should manage and supervise their employees and executives to ensure compliance with these policies and standards.

· Cooperating companies of GS Energy should make efforts to identify potential risks in the areas of ethics, environment, labor/human rights, safety/health that may arise during business operations.
· If cooperating companies of GS Energy identify significant risks, they must develop and implement measures to mitigate these risks.
- 2 Compliance with Rules
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy must provide information on their compliance with this Code of Conduct, as well as the level of compliance, during written checks or site visits conducted by third parties designated by GS Energy.
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy must create and manage appropriate documentation that can demonstrate compliance with this Code of Conduct. Such documentation should be based on the actual facts and operations of the business.
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy must make efforts to establish and implement plans for the timely correction of deficiencies or violations identified through written checks or site visits related to compliance with this Code of Conduct.
- 3 Training and Communication
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy must provide training to their employees and executives on the matters outlined in this Code of Conduct and on matters covered by laws and regulations related to this Code of Conduct.
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy must share with their employees and executives the action plans and implementation results related to the matters outlined in this Code of Conduct.
- 4 Management of Trading Partners (Subcontractors)
· Cooperating companies of GS Energy should encourage their trading partners (subcontractors) with whom they contract for the planning, design, sale, or manufacturing of products or services to manage ethical, environmental, labor/human rights, safety, and health factors.
· If cooperating companies confirm or become aware of their trading partners (subcontractors) violating laws and regulations related to ethics, environment, labor/human rights, safety, and health or if they identify relevant risks, they should make efforts to recommend or induce their trading partners (subcontractors) to make improvements.
